Google I/O2021 was where the company unveiled the "quick delete" option. It also announced several privacy-, and safety-focused tools. According to the firm, this was one of its most desired features. The tool is currently available only in Google's iOS mobile app but will be made available to Android later this year  according . Signing into Search with Google is required to perform the quick delete. Users can access the quick delete option by simply touching the avatar icon and choosing "Delete previous 15 minutes." On desktop, users can delete their web and mobile activity automatically (via Activity Controls), once every three to eighteen, thirty-six, or thirty-six months.
